Western Kentucky University Toppers Football Prospect Camp

The Western Kentucky University Toppers Football Prospect Camp will run from 12 noon until 1 o’clock in the afternoon on the 2nd of June. This elite football prospect camp is inviting all boys entering grade 9 and up who aspire to become a college football student-athlete. It is going to take place at the top-notch Houchens Smith Stadium which is on the Western Kentucky University campus. In addition, this football prospect camp provides an opportunity for prospects to showcase their exceptional skills. It is going to simulate a college level training environment. Furthermore, the camp registration fee is $50 per player.

Running this event is the Western Kentucky University Toppers college football coaching staff. Please note that this is a non-contact and non-padded camp so helmets and shoulder pads are not needed.

Head Coach Tyson Helton, a native of Gainesville, Florida is leading the Western Kentucky Toppers football team. The 2019 season will be his first season at the helm of the Toppers football program. Coach Tyson Helton is a bachelor’s degree in business graduate from the University of Houston. Prior to his head coaching role in Western Kentucky, Coach Tyson Helton was the Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach at the University of Tennessee.

Completing the Western Kentucky University Toppers college football coaching staff are Bryan Ellis (Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach), Clayton White (Defensive Coordinator), Garret Chachere (Running Backs Coach), Chris Chestnut (Wide Receivers Coach), Maurice Crum (Linebackers Coach), Mike Goff (Offensive Line Coach), Zach Lankford (Tight Ends Coach), Andy Larussa (Safeties Coach and Special Teams Coordinator), Jimmy Lindsey (Defensive Ends Coach and Recruiting Coordinator), Kenny Martin (Defensive Tackles Coach), Nick Uhlenhopp (Assistant Athletic Director for Football Operations), and Jason Veltkamp (Director of Football Strength and Conditioning).
