University of Texas at San Antonio Roadrunners Football Showcase Camp

The University of Texas at San Antonio Roadrunners Football Showcase Camp is a single day program that will fall on the 25th of July. It is open to all football players in high school up to junior college. This football showcase camp provides the participants with an opportunity to display their skills in front of the university’s recruiting staff. In addition, the event is going to take place at the University of Texas at San Antonio Practice Fields. This camp is divided into two sessions. The morning session is scheduled for those in grade 11, grade 12, and postgraduates while the afternoon session is scheduled for those in grade 9 and 10.  Registration cost which includes a camp t-shirt is $40 per player.

Furthermore, this training program will be under the supervision of the University of Texas at San Antonio Roadrunners college football coaching staff. Groupings and instructions are in accordance with the player’s age and skill level.

University of Texas at San Antonio Roadrunners Football Showcase Camp Organizers

Frank Wilson, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana is the Head Coach of the University of Texas at San Antonio Roadrunners football team. He is now in his third season at the helm of the Roadrunners football program. Coach Frank Wilson is a bachelor’s degree in general education graduate from Nicholls State Univesity. Additionally, he is the 2002 Louisiana Coach of the Year and the 2002 Nike National Coach of the Year.

Completing the Roadrunners football coaching staff are Jeff Kastl (Offensive Coordinator/Quarterbacks Coach), Jason Rollins (Defensive Coordinator/Safeties Coach), Gary Hyman (Special Teams Coordinator), Tony Ball (Passing Game Coordinator/Wide Receivers Coach), Darrell Funk (Offensive Line Coach), Will Thomas (Linebackers Coach), Giovanni Vizza (Tight Ends Coach), Deron Wilson (Cornerbacks Coach), Rod Wright (Defensive Line Coach), and Al Borges (Offensive Assistant).
